SS4 vs SSG; Which form do you think looks less stupid?

The story, the music, SS4.. ugh. But then Battle of Gods happened, and like being evicted from a crap shack house onto the cold and uncaring streets, I realized what I had before wasn't that bad. SSG is a JOKE! And even though SS4 is for furries, I gotta say I like it a whole lot better. What say you?

SSJG was a huge disappointment in my eyes juts looks like a remodeled version of Kaio-Ken.

Google Chrome	SSJ God is stupid beyond belief. Ooo, a new form of Kaioken At least SSJ4 looked cool. Not to mention that the new animation in Battle of the Gods rubs me the wrong way. The beams' edges are too jagged, the beams are too see through, there isn't enough weight behind them, and they flicker constantly as if they weren't solid

Chrome Favourite Manga One Punch Man	Super Saiyan 4 is awesome. Super Saiyan God is also awesome. They are each awesome in their own ways and for different reasons. Super Saiyan 4 is awesome for being a unique new "path" of Super Saiyan power incorporating the otherwise-obsolete Oozaru element, and Super Saiyan God for being a state that hides unbelievably immense power despite its weak and unassuming physical appearance. Also... 8 months after the movie's release, and comparing Super Saiyan God to Kaio-Ken is STILL inane and idiotic. You've gotta be either blind or just willfully ignorant to think SSJ God is just a ripoff of Kaio-Ken. Do I need to show some pictures or something? Edited by Kaboom, Nov 26 2013, 01:01 AM.

For a supposed god, it's an unappealing pile of s***. Super Saiyan 4 is my least favorite form (though it looks rather nice on Goku), but I much prefer it to Super Saiyan ~~Lame~~God. God is just too basic for my tastes, which I know was the point when Toriyama created it - stripping the form down to the basics instead of going even more extravagant. It still is one ugly transformation to me.

And needless to say the six Jesus Saiyans spreading good will across Planet Vegeta until evil Satana-jins came and corrupted the harmony of the planet is not very interesting. Hilarious maybe, but not really interesting. Especially when its heavily implied Saiyans were always blood thirsty, blood knights that would kill and battle indiscriminately and were the perfect warriors. But then again, AT made Yo Son Goku canon, I'm sure he made Episode of Bardock canon too also. So I guess along with the six Jesus Saiyans, there was also the Cretacious Purple Alien Saiyans. ...Have I mentioned that I think the form sucks yet? Edited by EMIYA, Nov 26 2013, 04:55 AM.

You can look at SSJ4 and think, yeah it's a bit hairy, but they tried. They attempted to put effort on it, they attempted to put a decent story behind it. They attempted beyond all the crap that was in there, to put some effort into it. And you can tell, the end result may not be what you wanted, but at least its effort. They built up SSj God even before the movie came out. This was the big thing about the movie, that at some point Goku was going to become the legendary Super Saiyan God. This awesome new most powerful form of the Saiyans that would make all other transformation like small baby otter sucking their mother's nipples. And we got exicted and what do we get? We get Goku...with his base hair style...with a red aura...and red hair... You can call that whatever you want. When I open my "Ecyclopedia of Obvious **** Smacked to the Face" I look that up and I find this definition. --- --- Super Saiyan God Noun Definition: Goku powers up to Master Kaio-Ken X One Trillion...what a waste of animation.

So many fans with small imaginations were expecting some grandiose, over-complicated thing from the state, like a gold Super Saiyan 4, or a huge hair-covered behemoth with tattoos or something... and here comes Toriyama the master troll, whipping up a design completely contrary to those fans' expectations and throwing them for a loop. It's brilliant. Freakin' brilliant, I tell you. The message of the movie is the age-old Dragon Ball lesson of not judging someone by their appearance. You think anyone is surprised when some hulking chunk-head like Broly or Bojack is a challenging enemy? Nope. Yet neither Beers nor Whis looked particularly threatening, but everyone soon finds out the hard way that they're actually unbelievably strong, and literally in a league of their own. They don't get their strength from their bodies, or even the same type of ki that everyone else uses. They're a special class of being who possess a special type of power. When Goku becomes a Super Saiyan God, he gains the use of this same special god-ki. Thus, he gains a slim and non-threatening physical appearance just like they do. There's an intentional theme at work here. If you can't see that and at least appreciate the intent behind it, then I don't know what to tell you. I have to wonder what you're even watching the new movie for. It seems like most people expected it all to be some sort of shallow AF-esque power levels wet dream brought to life.
